There are two ways the Grammar Graphics program help students find success with Language. Initially students code sentences identifying the parts of speech. Then they use the patterns of language to create sentences of their own. See below for a demonstration.
Code Sentence
The teacher starts the lesson by writing a sentence on the board and then asks the class or an individual student to code the sentence using the shapes that represent the parts of speech. Students are taught to use a sequential questioning method to code the sentence. Place and hold your mouse over the area below to see a demonstration.
